Lithium batteries can be roughly divided into two categories: lithium metal batteries and lithium ion batteries. Lithium metal batteries are usually non-rechargeable and contain metallic lithium. Lithium-ion battery is a kind of lithium that does not contain metal state and can be recharged; it is widely used in the field of power.
Huabao RV uses lithium-ion batteries.
It has the following advantages!
Long life
The number of cycles is high. The charge and discharge cycle is 1000 times at 1C at room temperature, and the capacity retention rate is more than 85%, which is 8 times that of lead-acid batteries, 3 times that of nickel-hydrogen batteries, 4 times that of lithium cobalt oxide batteries and lithium manganese oxide batteries. 4-5 times.
Outstanding safety performance
Lithium iron phosphate completely solves the safety hazards of lithium cobalt oxide and lithium manganese oxide. Lithium iron phosphate lithium ion battery is currently the world’s safe lithium ion battery. Its stability at high temperatures can reach 400-500°C, ensuring the battery’s internal High safety, will not explode or burn due to overcharge, high temperature, short circuit, impact.
Environmental protection, zero pollution
The battery does not contain any heavy metals and rare metals (Ni-MH batteries contain rare metals), non-toxic (CE certification), no pollution, in line with European ROHS regulations, it is a green battery. Lithium iron phosphate materials are pollution-free both in production and use.
Lightweight, 1/3 of that of lead-acid batteries.
Rechargeable batteries work under conditions that are often fully charged and not discharged, and their capacity will quickly fall below the rated capacity. This phenomenon is called the memory effect. Like nickel-metal hydride batteries and nickel-cadmium batteries, there is memory, but lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion batteries do not have this phenomenon. No matter what state the battery is in, it can be charged and used without having to discharge it first.
Pay attention to the following points when using RV lithium batteries!
01
When the battery is not used for a long time, be sure to turn off all power sources on the RV and check whether the battery still has discharge current! If you don’t turn off all electrical appliances, the battery can be exhausted even if the power is very small. Although the battery has built-in over-discharge protection, long-term zero-battery shelving will seriously affect the battery life.
Suggestion: Before parking and storing, carefully check whether the power is turned off, and charge the battery every three months.
02
If the battery has a peculiar smell, noise, smoke, or even a fire, all personnel will leave the scene as soon as they notice it, and call the insurance company immediately.
03
About battery storage:
The environment for storing lithium batteries should be kept dry. It is not allowed to put the battery in a place where water may leak, such as on the ground, etc., to avoid short-circuiting of the battery pack due to the leakage of heating and the rain from the window.
The battery pack should be kept away from combustible, flammable, and explosive materials, and old and new batteries should be stored separately. In addition, there should be a Class D fire extinguisher and respirator in the battery storage.
